About Software Training

The pre-event is a series of activities held before the main event. This pre-event will include software training sessions that will be useful for the competition work during the main event. Two software programs will be taught: Kinetix and PipeSim, with the training led by Schlumberger. Kinetix is a software used for simulating fracturing fluid design, while PipeSim is used for production analysis of oil and gas wells.
